Pen Tool
Concept of paths
- Anchor points and direction lines
- Click two points make stright line
Open and closed paths
- closed paths: when you are creating shapes... first point becomes last point.
- open paths: first point never meet the last point
Using the Direct Selection tool: White arrow
- moves individual anchor points
- moves segments
- moves direction lines in pairs
Add or reduce anchor points
- Add anchor points with +pen tool
- Remove anchor points with -pen tool
Convert anchor point: convert direction point tool
- Toggles segments from straight to curves or vice versa
- Moves direction lines individually
Reshape tool
- using 3 different pen tools with white anrrow
